Holyhead Breakwater 1966
In 1966 the steam locos that operated the Holyhead Breakwater were replaced by a single Fowler diesel numbered ED6. The Fowler 0-4-0 arrived in March 1966 and left in September 1967. This session shows ED6 in use running two trips to the quarry to pick up 4 quarry wagons and transport them to the first loop on the Breakwater for unloading. Wickham trolley TR23 runs in front of ED6 transporting operational staff.
