Bo'ness- Manuel Junction diesel gala 2012

The Bo'ness and Kinneil railway organised their summer 2012 diesel gala over the weekend 27/07/12-29/07/12. This session re-enacts the operations of Saturday 28/07/12.

Due to a defect in the railtour set of stock most of the departures ran late and this is reflected in the session, where 47270 had to shunt the 5 carriage set into the carriage sidings for attention. The other 3 carriage branch set and a loco hauled 3 car class 303 ran the other services. Visiting locos were WCRC 47270, GBRf 66727 and Colas Railfreight 66850.

Services were as follows:

66727 0945 Bo'ness- Manuel Junction and return
37175 1050 Bo'ness- Birkhill and return
47270 shunts coaches into carriage siding
27001+26024 1140 Bo'ness- Birkhill and return
47270 1250 Bo'ness- Manuel Junction and return
26024+27001 1310 Bo'ness- Birkhill and return
26038+303032 1335 Bo'ness- Manuel Junction and return
D3558+D2767 1545 Bo'ness- Kinneil and return
66727 1610 Bo'ness- Manuel Junction and return
47270+47643 1715 Bo'ness- Manuel Junction and return

There is no class 303 EMU on the DLS, so I've had to use alternative stock in the correct livery. One has been converted from Sketchup and released for Trainz by Redmanb11 as follows:

BR Class 303 MBS Strathclyde <kuid:245144:1668>

It is recommended that these be used instead if available. Unfortunately the pantograph cannot be deactivated for these runs.

<kuid2:244265:100100:1> Decauville dependency is showing as faulty but I have left this on the session, as it only has a static display role and can be ignored. Hopefully it will be fixed in the future and will appear in it's place next to Bo'ness museum.
