Model Trainz - Asphodel & Southern TRS19

The Asphodel & Southern is based on a model railroad track plan of the same name found in Compact Layout Design, a book authored by Iain Rice and published by Kalmbach Books in 2015. It is located in the state of Arkansas and features the small town of Hubbard, where there's an interchange with another railroad, several industries, and a station, and the terminus at Asphodel. In Asphodel, there's a station, several industries, a turntable, and the railroad's engine house, coal bin, water tower, and ash pit. Stockyards and freight depots are located at both Hubbard and Asphodel, while a grain tower, John Deere tractor dealership and coal dealership are also located in Asphodel. At Hubbard, there's a loading platform for local farmers to load hay onto freight cars for delivery to points far away from their farms. There is also a hidden 'sneak-off' track to allow continuous-running of a train around the layout. A three-track staging yard with a turntable to turn locomotives around is also included. This route features TRS19 precedural track, TurFX, SpeedTrees, and PBR textures. All content should be either built-in or available for download on the Download Station (DLS).
