Colliery pithead and winding house for stand-alone use
A 15.6m-high downcast (air inject) pithead frame with 3m winding wheels. Cables run to a winding house to operate the shaft cages. Animations show the cages alternately arriving at ground level with loaded skips. The skips emerge from the cages and tip their loads off the end of pithead platform to a coal staithe.
In order to reflect a particular colliery's underlying gallery structure, edits may be made to the 'highest_gallery' and 'pit_bottom' parameters in the config file's string-table container. The parameter values represent winding times in seconds to reach the highest active gallery and the pit bottom from the pit top level.
Each time the asset is loaded into Trainz, 2 active gallery levels between the highest gallery and pit bottom will be randomly selected and the winding times will be those required to alternately service these 2 gallery levels.
