The ALCO Century 425 was a four-axle, 2500 horsepower (1.875 MW) diesel locomotive of the road switcher type. 91 were built between October 1964 and December 1966.The Alco C-425 Locomotive was part of the Century series marketed by the American Locomotive Company. This one was built and delivered to the Pennsyvania railroad. The PRR had many of these C-425s in 3 different configurations. Road numbers 2422 to 2436 had the larger fuel tanks and 3 class lights.
